You can practice by yourself, which can uncover opportunities for further refinements, increase your confidence and smoothen your delivery but practising by yourself is of limited value compared with presenting to somebody else. If you can find someone to practice with, ideally someone of similar experience and knowledge as the audience on the relevant matters, then you can extract even more value from the practice. If they can highlight the most impactful and least impactful aspects of your presentation, whether that be the messages or how they are delivered, it can help you decide what changes, if any, you want to make before going into the real thing.
