On the 22nd of January 2021 55 days from turning 25 years old the tabloids caught that Jordan Ibe labelled "The next Raheem Sterling" both previously of Liverpool football club, had taken a break from football due to being in a dark place. Jordan had posted an apology to his fans worldwide claiming to be depressed and vowing to fix himself and his situation.
