The International Rugby Players' Association has been blind sided by World Rugby's latest policy.The governing body has banned sevens players from writing personal messages on strapping tape around their wrists, in an effort to align with Olympic protocols.Players' Association Chief Rob Nichol told Radio Sport Breakfast they weren't aware the policy was going to be introduced."By and large I think it adds a nice flavour to the game to see people and players in particular write small messages that mean something to them and aren't offensive in any shape or form."Rob Nichol says they will try to understand the policy, before taking any action to address it.The policy is in place for the World Series opener in Dubai this weekend.LISTEN ABOVE AS ROB NICHOL SPEAKS WITH RADIO SPORT BREAKFASTSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
