Kevin starts the episode by talking about the report that MLB and the MLBPA recently had face to face discussions on the beginnings of a new CBA. The big news to come out of the meeting is MLB offering to lower the Luxury Tax as well as raise the penalties, for exceeding the limits. MLB also offered to implement a Salary Floor, or minimum a team needs to spend on its roster. This is a robin hood style suggestion of taking from the rich to give to the poor. This is not going to go over well with the MLBPA. Kevin then discusses the latest news and notes happening around the league this week.
