Kevin starts the show by discussing the MLB Players Choice Awards. These are the awards voted on by the players for the season. Shohei Ohtani takes home the "Player of the Year" Award for his outstanding season. Other winners include Bryce Harper, Robbie Ray, Max Scherzer, among others. Kevin then breaks down games 1 and 2 of the World Series. History was made by Jorge Soler in game 1 by being the first "true" leadoff home run in World Series history. The Braves were able to get a split in Houston to take home field away from the Astros. Kevin wraps up the show by previewing games 3,4, and 5. Two rookies take the mound in game 3 for only the 6th time in WS history and for the first time since 2006. Both pitching staffs are fighting an uphill battle and need the starters to go deeper in games.
