Introduction American stock markets fell 15% in just a few days, one of the worst weeks in history for the markets. More cases of the virus are appearing in countries around the globe, many with no known connection to travel to infected countries or visits with people known to be infected.  Is this a repeat of the Spanish flu where millions were killed globally?
