Doug Hawkins is a local Bondi bloke. Raised in North Bondi in a different time, a time when Bondi was a working class hard nosed town. Back in a time when people hadn't even heard of Gluten free, bio dynamic almond milk or any such a thing. You could say Doug grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.... He's all grown up now and is a true real life Hero, A lifesaver, and the head of Nippers. This a an inspirational tale of a reluctant hero.
