Half-Pints, Whole-Notes #46: The Albums That Got Us in 2016

Informações:

Sinopsis

Yep, its that time of year again. Everybody's got their best of-lists for 2016, and we've got ours. But it's not really a best of list. Here at Half-Pints, Whole-Notes, we realize that everyone else is writing about the same albums and declaring what is the "best" from a critical, artistic, and sometimes commercial viewpoint. That's not what we do, we talk about the albums that we loved. That we sort of couldn't live without. Sure, Radiohead's album was masterfully done and another artistic work of wonder from them, but guess what? One of our hosts rated it well, said it was really, really well done, and then never listened to it again, because it just didn't grab him. Not like the albums in this show did. So, what was supposed to be 12 albums from each host, sort of becomes 13 albums from each host, and there you go. Don't forget to listen to our playlist, where we try and distill the essence of each album into one track. https://open.spotify.com/user/riskylengths/playlist/4jOjpn2doktYm4eWxY
