Cantor Azi Schwartz

Mr. Gelb, General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera, will connect the opera world with traditional hazzanut and everything in between, in conversation with Cantor Schwartz and Music Director Colin Fowler. Prior to joining the Met, Peter Gelb served as President of the Sony Classical record label and as President of CAMI Video. Under his leadership, the Met has launched several new initiatives, including The Met: Live in HD; a new opera commissioning program; and a 24-hour Met Radio station on Sirius XM. Mr. Gelb has won Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Awards, the Sanford Prize from the Yale School of Music, and France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
