Surviving Sarah

Ellie Holcomb joins me around my virtual kitchen table. This was the first time we’ve met and she is such a delight! I’m sure if you’ve ever heard her on another show or seen her in concert then that comes as no surprise. She makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. If you don’t know who Ellie is, she is a singer/songwriter, mother to 3 and wife to Drew Holcomb who is also a musician. We recorded this episode way back in July when she was fully pregnant with their third. She has since welcomed Samuel Rivers Holcomb to the world. This conversation feels like we are all joining her on her front porch with a cool drink in hand. We talk about what’s its like to manage the tension of living out her dreams in regards to work while also living out the dreams of being a mom; we talk about how she handles the tensions around social media; we talk about what she wants her kids to know and understand and how that connects to the new children’s book and EP that she just released.
