This week’s episode is on Black Love featuring my friends Celeste Winston and Jalil Bishop. In it we talk about their story, what exactly black love is, and the vulnerabilities that everyone faces when in a long-term relationship. More often than not, we see the highlight reels of everyone’s relationships but not the behind the scenes. We don’t really focus on the hard work it takes to make love work despite differences of opinions, locations and the trials and tribulations we all face in our own individual growth. On this episode we talked about a multitude of things from the political aspects of black love to the difficulties of expressing one’s love for the first time to the little-big arguments we all face (like fighting over sharing a or, in this case, over carrying a water bottle).
