At the beginning of October, multiple women came forward to accuse Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood producer, of sexual misconduct. Since then, high-profile men in a variety of industries from Uber, Amazon, to Charlie Rose with CBS. These men have resigned, been fired or experienced other fallout after accusations that have ranged from inappropriate text messages to rape. Former legal secretary Rena Weeks says she never worked again after winning her sexual harassment lawsuit against the Baker & McKenzie law firm in 1994. Her legal win of $7.1 million, later reduced to $3.5 million sent shudders through the law business that her lawyer warned her firms would blacklist her.
