Summary: The Apostle Paul connects some practices in the early church to the timeless principle of Headship. Headship in the home and in the church is a call to reflect God the Father's headship over God the Son, and ultimately Jesus Christ's loving sacrificial headship over His bride the Church. In a fallen and sin filled world men too often grasp at authority to serve themselves at the expense of others.
