Heavenly Father, we thank you that you, the God of all light did not leave us in the dark, did not leave us in our own darkness. Instead Lord, that you came and you exposed our darkness through the truth of your son, Jesus Christ. And we thank you Jesus that you didn't just expose our darkness with your light, but you also showed us your love, of how much you love us, that you are willing to die on the cross bearing the penalty for our darkness. We thank you, Holy Spirit, that through you, we can have fellowship with the father and with the son and with one another because of the gospel. Lord, I pray that you bless our time in the holy scriptures. I pray that you give us grace to confess our sins, reveal where we are still in darkness, the patterns in our life that are still pull
