Church Hurt: it occurs when you’ve been a victim of abuse of power in the church. This abuse of power could be anything from sexual assault and molestation to psychological manipulation. Church hurt is also being burned or overly worked. Etc It can happen when you feel judged, or mistreated by anyone in the church, when people aren’t Inconsistent, contradicting and or hypercritical. Church hurt happens when the church weren’t there for you during a traumatic time, it also happens when you were led wrongly by someone in leadership. Etc. Church hurt can be everything above and is not limited to everything stated above. Have you been hurt by the church?
