As we watch history being made on the other side of the world, it can all seem very clinical, very cut-and-dried. This time, however, Bill Whittle has skin in the game: his wife and stepdaughter were in Dubai when the attacks started, and are unable to leave until… well, nobody knows. Does having your closest loved ones in harm’s way affect the way you look at things?
