Octogenarian community leader Tausif Khan has dedicated more than 40 years to strengthening Indian community networks in Queensland. A migrant from Europe, he drew on his own settlement journey to build unity, connection and a sense of belonging. In 1986, he helped establish one of Queensland’s first Indian community directories, and from the early 1990s worked to build lasting India–Australia business and community links.
