Hey kids! This week on apt613 Live I interview Angie Diack, owner and instructor with The Dirty Smock to chat about crafting in Ottawa, where she gets her inspiration, and what kind of workshops she’s hosting for the holiday season. Musical offerings include Buck 65, Sloan, John Carroll and a host of other folks who’ll soon be taking the stage in Ottawa. As a side note: I mentioned Jill Zmud off the top of the program but due to technical difficulties (I am so not 'of my generation’) I was unable to play one of her songs. Zmud is a local talent and her latest album “small matters of life and death” is up for the Contemporary Album of the Year award at this year’s Canadian Folk Music Awards which are taking place at the Bronson Centre this Saturday November 29th.
