On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we tackled the many shades of conflict and how important it is to maintain self-control at those times. It is much easier said than done. So we turned to a friend of this program who is an expert in relational dynamics combined with the application of scripture to get some guidance on the keys to regulating our emotions during these volatile times to both honor the Lord and find real solutions to the issues we face. One of our favorite bible teachers joined us this week as we dove deep into the issue of prayer, specifically regarding praying in the name of Jesus. He cleared away the confusion over this practice and explained why is not a “magical” statement that gets God to do what we want. He also addressed whether or not God ever says “NO” our prayer requests, what His reasons might be and how we should prepare our heart to respond to whatever His answer is.
