CH 9 2-13 Jesus is transfigured on a mountain in the presence of Peter, James, and John, with His appearance changing and Elijah and another appearing beside Him. A voice from a cloud affirms Jesus as God's Son, and after the vision ends, Jesus instructs them Not to tell anyone until after His resurrection, explaining the need for the suffering of the Messiah, which the disciples struggle to understand.
