I had the opportunity to sit down with Fatima Moumen, an advocate for women empowerment. She shares her experiences growing up Muslim American post September 11th in Denver, Colorado. She was targeted and bullied just because of who she was raised to be. An incredible and inspiring story of how she overcame a hate crime in middle school. How one experience as a hijabi shifted her life to focus on love and kindness and bringing women together.
