THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE BREATH OF GOD   Take a snapshot of Genesis 2:7. There, we see Adam's creation when God breathed the breath of life into him, and he became a living soul. That was the beginning of God's new creation of mankind. God commissioned this new creation to take what they had in the Garden of Eden to the rest of God's creation, including the cosmos. Adam and Eve were created in God's image with the ability to reproduce their kind into God's newly created world. The great tragedy of Adam and Eve's failure in the garden was that it short-circuited God's plans to manifest himself and the very spirit of heaven into this created world. Over the following centuries, there were several restarts where God gave mankind the opportunity to do it again. The most obvious to us is when the flood came, and Noah and his family had the opportunity that Adam and Eve had to reproduce, subdue, and bring heaven to Earth.
