The year is 1977. It was a dark time for America: gas prices were high, jeans had bell bottoms, lots of kitchen appliances were colored in avocado green and lemon yellow for no good reason. And rising out of this desolate landscape is an animated movie that bucks logic and reason in favor of creepy singing dolls, sentient piles of taffy and a blue camel with some major depression issues.
