Sahi Bolta Hai

We read an article about a mid-air drama in a Pune-Delhi flight over a printed message on the lid of a rajma chawal container. The gist of the story is this: The message that went "Buri nazar-waley, Rajma-chawal khaa le," apparently offended a passenger so much, he complained to the airline staff, then the airline customer care and is now contemplating filing a case against the caterer. We ask the question, what makes THIS message (in particular) worth taking offense over?
