Stacey and Mary Anne are headed back to the scene of the crime. To the place where it all started, all those years ago – to the locus for those half-forgotten events of that tumultuous summer in Sea City when Stacey went boy crazy, a condition that affects her to this very day. And the consequences of this return to the past – of this “recherche du temps perdu” – will be cataclysmic. A great storm is coming. A hurricane. A tempest of rage and hurt and remembrance that threatens to consume everything in its path. And with the darkness preceding the deluge come other dark things.
