We’re focused on God’s help to Abraham in that time in rescuing Lot and the other captured people against all the odds – at least from a human perspective – and Abraham’s thankful response. Brian leaves us with a challenge to reflect on our thankfulness to God’s help in our lives and call us to make adjustments as needed to ensure that our thankfulness levels are appropriate to how much God helps us and that we are thanking God in the ways that He appreciates most.
