Dear Sam, I am a mother to a 20 year old daughter. It's been me and her until about 2010 when I moved in officially with my then on and off boyfriend. We have been through a lot especially me, but I tried to raise her the best I can while going through the unfortunate things I was going through and we are all not perfect parents. She also had a few traumatic experiences in her life and also has a mental illness. She was dealing with a behavioral specialist and getting medication since she was about 10. After my brother got murdered and she graduated high school, it's like she completely went left. Being lazy don't wanna do anything, but stay wanna run the streets with ''friends". Talks back to me, won't keep a job always have an excuse for not wanting to keep a job, and the list goes on and on. I have tried to get her to go back to trying to get medication and talk to a therapist but she just won't do it.
