Today's episode is extremely personal and extremely vital. I interview my friend who is dying. Given what we are facing as a global community we had considered for a fraction of a moment waiting on this episode ... but we both share a bit of the f*ck it's and decided if not now, when? Isn't this actually the best time? As people are actually awake and facing this reality with eyes open. The truth is, we are all facing death everyday. The other truth is that we don't talk about this stuff - death, dying, cancer ... unless we are personally affected by it and even then we fumble. I originally thought that maybe this episode would be a part of the taboo series I am doing, but I can't decide if death is the most taboo or the least taboo thing ever. It is our future, it is our shared reality, it is life when you really think about it. May this episode open you up, may it invite you into places and thoughts and feelings and memories you need to have. May it also be a catalyst, a comfort and an honest place for refl
