Abbas and Rudy welcomed on the new management team for the 2020-2021 academic year. The episode starts out with introduction from each of the new managers followed by a brief discussion on the MLB reopening and some of its shortcomings. To wrap it up, the new managers participate in a team building exercise. 

The crew discusses NBA reopening day and the disaster that is safety measures in the MLB. Bear and Canz are tied at 2 a piece in trivia with a decisive game five going down this week.

Abbas and Rudy are joined by Radio DePaul hall of famer Marty O'Connell to discuss opening day for the MLB and the Cubs first game against Milwaukee. Happy vibes from the whole crew today. 

The crew talks opening day, our happiness to have baseball back and how we think the Cubs will do this season. Keep in mind this was recorded before the Hendricks start. As always we end with the classic Bear vs Canz duel. Canz with a 2-1 lead going into this one.

On this week's ABC podcast Canz and Bear discuss who DePaul should look to in their search for a new athletic director. The discussion then switches over to the potential name change of the Washington football team. For trivia this week, Bear and Canz face off again this week in beard themed trivia. Nick Canz is looking for revenge after sustaining his first loss last week. 

With the emergence of social media in the 21st century, athletes' personal lives are heavily scrutinized. So that begs the question...is Anthony Davis boring?? Nick Canzoneri faces his biggest challenge yet in the trivia game as Bear Donnelly steps down as moderator to take on the undefeated Canz. The theme this week is rookies to celebrate Bear having a job and Abbas looking for a job.  Before trivia Bear gives his update on college hoops and the top prospects in the NBA draft. Boss and Rudes is back after a very long break to discuss the details of the NBA's return plan. Abbas and Rudy are joined by Gina Ciolli as the conversation goes from the return plan, to Mickey Mouse and Goofy in the stands, to CP3 calling the hotline. The conversation then shifts to activism and sports.

The last Monday Madness episode recorded for Radio DePaul Sports, and the last for Noah as a college student. Yet two more episodes to be made in the coming weeks to make it to the ultimate goal of 175 total episodes. Noah talked about those changes and the changes being made in the sports seasons of baseball, basketball, and hockey. Talked UFC 250 and Conor McGregor's 'retirement' tweet.

For this episode of the Radio DePaul Sports podcast, Gina and Abbas looked into how sports entities, including media, should respond to the protests against police brutality. The episode includes three interviews.  The first with Fred Mitchell, an adjunct faculty at DePaul University who was a sportswriter at the Chicago Tribune for over 41 years. Mitchell discussed his career as a journalist and an athlete and he also had advice for students and student journalists. The second interview was with Jon Greenberg, the founding editor of The Athletic and the lead columnist for Athletic's Chicago branch. Greenberg talked about his column about sports during this movement and what The Athletic is doing overall. The last interview was with DePaul basketball head coach Doug Bruno. Bruno stressed the importance of not only speaking out, but also of the necessity of action. The main thing Bruno highlighted is the need for people to learn and be educated, especially on the topic of race.  Below are some links
