Card Talk With The Sack Boys

Another old face returns to vanguard as the sackboys discover a new love for bugs with the return of Gredora. Afterward they have a little discussions about some video games that they love but don't often get a chance to talk about, as well as some poor monetary decisions involving one League of Legends.

In our first episode of the new format the Sackboys after a brief Last of Us 2 discussion(skip to around 10 minutes in if you wanna avoid spoilers) they get into a full blown discussion on Naruto. Remembering the series along with some of their favorite moments from it, as well as least favorite. There is a lot of least favorite moments. 

A new product stream has dropped leading to us getting a ton of new news for the future of our favorite card game. Including the return of an old flame of Conor's and she has somehow managed to maintain some of her old flavor. This is before some major announcements from the Sackboys about the future of our show, and Peter regales us with his hatred of mantis shrimp.   

Bushiroad went and did it, after a week long wait Bushi shows us their new ban list and it goes exactly the way you think it would. The Sackboys discuss these changes to the premium format and continue to cover whatever is left of the over of Butterfly d'Moonlight(we still lacking a certain vampire princess but that will come eventually).   

Are you guys exicted for more Bang Dream? That's a question the Sackboys ask themselves as they go over not 1 but 2 more bands. We are approaching the end folks in time the music will pass, one more to go.

Bushiroad has shown a lot of things these last two weeks, three vrs, a lot of triple rares, the kitchen sink you name it. The Sackboys cover all of them, with some slow violins for good measure. Afterwards much delay the sackboys finally reveal the premium decks made for each other and we got some out there ideas.

In this episode of not talking about Vanguard the Sackboys are in a very persona mood today with the release of Golden on steam. As such they are gonna spend today discussing the persona series (mainly 3, 4, and 5). Join us as we talk about our favorite character, games and try not to kill each other over best girl.

Silverdust Blaze finally comes to a close as the Sackboys cover the final reveals, followed by looking forward to whats to come, namely the absence of a regional circuit this year. In exchange we gain a new shop circuit that leaves the boys very excited. 

Peter goes missing as the VR's of Silverdust Blaze with the return of THE OVERLORD and boy howdy the sackboys are whelmed by it. But before that we cover the second to last Band of the Bang Dream booster. 

It's a party on this weeks episode as the saccboys are in high spirits despite less then stunning reveals. For Andrew an old friend returns with the reveal of Gallop, leading to a discussion about D-Police in and of itself. Following that the boys talk about the newly revealed set which has a few units which hold special significance to some of them, and this leads to a massive amount of speculation.   

Bushiroad hits the Sackboys with a massive curveball as we continue to not get the remaining VR's from Silverdust Blaze, and instead jump ahead a set to join an old captain on a quest to obtain treasure. 

Premium collection finally comes to a close as the Sackboys discuss the strides of the set. After that we introduce a new segment to the show where Peter get's to indulge in some fine drinks as we read off a lot of Bang Dream cards. 

Premium collection is starting to wrap up as we approach the final clans support one of which strikes a particular sore spot with Conor. Following that we get back to some VRs namely an old favorite of Conor's, and the return of the favorite of Louis. As well as some hijinks involving some a new Deletor that the sackboys can't help but love. 

A happy late Cinco de Mayo to you all from us at Card Talk With the Sackboys. We look through some more stuff being shown from premium collection mostly of the United Sanctuary variety, along with some Cray Elementals. This is followed by a look at the new banlist Bushiroad has dropped on us and there was much celebration to be had. 

Crossovers that have become common place in other Bushiroad come to Vanguard with the addition of Bang dream as a new clan. The Sackboys look over what they have to show us so far along with more reveals from Premium Collection where a trend is starting appear that isn't really well regarded among the boys.  

Premium Collections continue to trickle in to a very mixed reception from the Sackboys but we can at least enjoy the fact that a long standing meme with Narukami has been put to rest. Later we venture back into Kagero with a brand new Blademaster which has Andrew over the moon and Conor isn't far behind. Peter then wraps us up with a discussion on his thoughts on Bushiroad's design philosophy, and how much things have really changed with our beloved card game.      

Premium Strides drop in the laps of the Sackboys in this episode as they go over the first major batch of what Bushiroad has in store for premium whenever events start up again. Some other stuff was revealed as well and it carries quite a few implications including some not so fond memories from a certain space robot clan.

Premium collection spoilers have begun, and the Sackboys talk about what Bushi has in store for all the clans going forward and truly asking if they are premium enough for this job. Followed by a long discussion of an old friend returning but having changed significantly much to one of their chagrin. 

The last of the Vrs are out for The Next stage with the return of Ahsha in full bloom showing the true power of her new tokens. New sentinels are also shown off for the three clans and these make Conor's plans for Altmile go......critical. Finally a sneak peak of the following V-set sees the return of some old friends for Louis, and Andrew.   

Many a cards were shown off this week mostly promos. So many promos and quite a few of them are good so the Sackboys take a look at them. Following that the return of an old flame and an old friend send the Sackboys on a frenzy because Team Tri3 is looking to make a glorious return.
