The novel tells the story of Ponyboy Curtis and his struggles with right and wrong in a society in which he believes that he is an outsider. The book shows how his views of the world and his enemies grow over the course of the book. Can Ponyboy overcome the struggles of the wrong side of the tracks and really “Stay Gold?” You will have to read it to find out. When people in their town start falling ill to a mysterious disease everyone has there own ideas of what is causing it. Overall it is a good book there is nothing graphic nor is there any foul language. It was a good read it took about 6 or so hours to listen to it on audio I would recommend this to others. This book has been a favorite in our family for many years, we read it and/or watch the movie every December. Recommended Age: We would say that for content this is and has been a book for all ages.  Although reading it may be difficult for younger American children as it is full of British language that may be difficult.  For a read out loud book it is perfect for all ages.
