Sometimes when I think over all the challenges and the tough times life has thrown me, I can only think of how the Lord God kept and covered me. There's no doubt, He was there during the rough and tough times. I know, because I felt His presence and let me tell you that if He brought me through, He will bring you through. Today I'm standing, because faith won, but there was a time when the lack of faith got the best of me, but not today, not anymore. I wallowed in my grief about certain events that happened or didn't happen in my life and my lack of faith about how God could and would change my life, was getting the best of me. Although I knew what God's word said, I had believed what the world said. I had let the devil have his way with me, so I walked around in a state of despair about what was, not what could be. I like what Paul wrote in Ephesians 6. He encouraged us to put on the armor (the shield, the protection, the defense) of God for us to be strong, mighty, and influential in the world, to make a difference.
