Legends Of S.h.i.e.l.d.: A Marvel Comic Universe Podcast

As Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. ventures into the summer break of 2014 our hosts dive into the very first incarnation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s S.H.I.E.L.D. found in the 2008 hit movie Iron Man. Iron Man introduces the viewers to Phil Coulson, S.H.I.E.L.D., and Director Fury and Agents Lauren, Haley and SP Rupert remark on the movie that started it all as well as how far S.H.I.E.L.D. have come from some minor appearances in a single movie to a full blown organization covering Marvel One Shot shorts, several movies and a dedicated television show. It’s The Beginning Of The End! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. concludes their first season on television with a whirlwind finale episode and the Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. hosts are here with their take on the episode and the season. With nearly everyone in agreement that this was the best episode of season one Haley, Lauren and SP Rupert debate the finer points of the episode and the season’s plot in general. SP discovers a new term of “Paxtoning” someone, Haley geeks out of the awesome May moves, and Lauren continues her drool fest over Manu Bennett. Providence is the best Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode yet and we think this is the best Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. podcast yet. Coulson’s team is in the middle of surviving and figuring out who’s really who in the world - including Ward, who Stargate Pioneer maintains isn’t completely bad despite doing some really terrible things. We witness Clark Gregg displaying some incredible acting and feel Agent Coulson’s pain along with the rest of the team. We are introduced to the awesome Agent Koenig and Col Talbot. Agent Garrett is revealed as the Clairvoyant, we find a secret unnamed base through Director Fury’s sneaky directions, we travel underground beneath a Havana barber shop to a secret Hydra base, and are shown perhaps the sole surviving SHIELD logo - on Garrett’s coffee cup. And Wil brings up how poorly S.H.I.E.L.D. had guarded The Fridge. We also have a couple of  important announcements! After being hacked by Hydra we had Skye fix us up with a new voicemail line and Wil gives us our new voicemail jingle. Ha
