There are many methods people use in trying to achieve lasting change in their lives. However, there is only one way and His name is Jesus. In this message, you will learn the key to ongoing transformation in the story of Jesus being transfigured on the mountain.

The ongoing transformation that each Christian should be experiencing is one that the Apostle Paul describes as “from one degree of glory to even more glory” (2 Cor. 3:18 AMP). While this is entirely a work of the Holy Spirit, there are various encounters that He will use to initiate change in us. In today’s teaching, we’ll look at three of those encounters in the story of Samuel anointing Saul to be the first king of Israel.

As a Christian, you have the Spirit of God living in you, but whether you walk according the flesh or according to the Spirit, is still a choice. The Bible says that those who live according to the Spirit have set their minds according to the things of the Spirit. That sounds like merely thinking like God thinks, but while it includes that, it is actually thinking from God's perspective. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked..(1 John 2:6). Jesus provided life through the cross, His focus was LIFE not Sin. Our focus will determine the lifestyle we WALK out!

There were others before Christ who were raised from the dead, but they all eventually died. However, Jesus was the first to be born from the dead to never die again. The Bible says that spiritually, we died with, were buried, made alive and raised with Christ and are now seated with Him in heavenly places. In other words, His resurrection is our resurrection. That one truth should make a significant difference in the way that you live your life. Listen to this message and learn how His resurrection gives you the potential and ability to walk in newness of life.

In 3 John 1:3-4, the Apostle says that it brought him great joy to hear testimonies that his spiritual children walked in truth proportionate to the truth that was in them.  In other words, their lifestyle accurately reflected the truth of God’s word and God’s Spirit. In today’s teaching, you’ll learn some practical ways that you too, can walk in truth and live a life of freedom.

Regardless of what you have been told or may have even come to believe; God created the "new you" in Christ for a definite purpose. When God created you in Christ, He gave you everything that you would need to do what He created you for - that is to live a lifestyle of good works that illuminate God's nature and bring glory to Him.
