The hunt came to an end when Wayne and other SWAT Agents surrounded the terrorist on a remote Whidbey Island and killed the leader in a fiery machine gun battle. The case was later fictionalized as, The Last Shot, an actual Hollywood feature film. In the star-studded comedy, actor Alec Baldwin played the role of Garland Schweickhardt.
