We combine this peaceful process with a gentle breathing awareness and progressive relaxation to remind ourselves that the answer to who we are always lies within ourselves. No distractions. “The ability to let what which does not matter truly slide” Quote from The Fight club I think at times it can be quite challenging to know what matters and to identify what to let go of. We can at times get distracted by the trivial stuff of the moment and can lose perspective of the bigger picture. What is the trivial stuff? The trivial stuff is the fluff which takes us away from who we truly are and our greater meaning. In the manic warp speed of life...we can lose touch of the “why” we need to identify “what” matters...the ‘how” of our authentic values, the “how” of our behaviours which support these values, our internal dialogue, our actions...and then notice really notice where our thoughts go.....Because where we our thoughts go we also allow our health, our body our sense of self follows.   So know your thoughts and train you
