  • No Halo Yet

    10/12/2021 Duración: 02h32min

This week Trees embarks on a capitalistic block party while Fred does...very little.  On the gaming front no one has played Halo Infinite yet, but Trees sank some hours into Car Mechanic Simulator, tried out the surprisingly good Kart Rider: Drift, and jumped into Series X/S exclusive Lawn Mowing Simulator.  Fred tried The Forgotten City, briefly jumped into Arkham Origins, but spent most of his time continuing to love Final Fantasy VII Remake.

  • Barn Stuff

This week is all about setting up for Christmas and oil-soaked food.  On the gaming front Trees has finally 100 percent completed Maneater, DLC and all, as well as rounding out the end of Picross Sega.  The real highlight is the new CMS 2021 DLC that includes Jaguars and Pugatis.  Fred has been continuing to enjoy Final Fantasy VII Remake and taking his RPG interests to a whole new level with the tabletop game Hero Quest (yes, that one from the early 90s) and the PC indie darling Wildermyth.

  • Turkey Day

    26/11/2021 Duración: 02h35min

This week the show takes place on Thanksgiving and despite being tired and full of food, Fred and Trees manage a full episode.  Along with various adventures, the recently released Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City are discussed (with no real spoilers).  On the gaming front Trees is creating a new civilization in No Man's Sky, decking out slick designs in Forza Horizon 5, and building rockets on social media with the game pass title Next Space Rebels.  Fred is continuing to enjoy Final Fantasy VII Remake, went back to Treyarch's first developed Call of Duty 3, and enjoying a listener suggested anime High Score Girl.  In fact, that's where this week's closing song comes from!

  • Turning 20

    19/11/2021 Duración: 02h39min

This week is more topical than anything.  After Trees and Fred discuss their brief outings, there are discussions on porn (crypto and gaming), movies, and the 20th Anniversaries of Xbox and Gamecube.  On the gaming front Trees is sticking with Voice of Cards and enjoying more Forza Horizon 5 while Fred is playing the new Magic: The Gathering expansion and Ghostbusters Remastered.

  • Fruit Cake Content

    12/11/2021 Duración: 01h50min

This week it's musicals, Halloween fun, and a dissection of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before moving onto games in this short, but simply packed episode.  Trees has continued to explore No Man's Sky, impulse played Yoko Taro's newest title Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars and jumped into game pass title Moonglow Bay.  Both hosts also spent some time in Forza Horizon 5 and enjoyed this truly fun and gorgeous title.  Fred wrapped up Titanfall 2, The Suffering, and for grins got 120% completion in Spyro the Dragon (Re-ignited).  He also tried out Marvel's Avengers with mixed results.

  • Sports Can Be Fun

    22/10/2021 Duración: 02h01min

After a week off Trees tells tales of building offices and winderizing cabins while Fred sat around doing a whole lot of nothing much.  On the gaming front, similarities are abound.  Trees has delved into the Spyro Trilogy, continues to work through the Sega version of Picross, dove into Jaguar DLC in Car Mechanic Simlulator 2021, and wrapped up Maneater's DLC.  He also has been doing pinata hunting under duress with Viva Pinata and enjoying some rounds on the course with PGA Tour 2K21.  Fred has been working through Shocktober with Castlevania titles on the N64, returned to Agony, and finally picked up Returnal.  His main focus was working through all of Alan Wake Remastered. This episode's song is from Old Gods of Asgard, the aged band on the farm in Alan Wake and the track discussed on the show entitled Children of the Elder God.

  • Spot On Casting

    01/10/2021 Duración: 03h12min

As always, we say "nothing happened" but yet we go on nearly an hour about this nothing.  Then it's time to go to the Switch where updates discover bluetooth, games were announced (and released), and we learn of the best casting ever for the 2022 Super Mario movie.  On the gaming front, Trees continues with Car Mechanic Simulator, wraps Maneater and leaps into the Truth Quest DLC, customizes boats in AC Valhalla, and plays around with the perspective bending Superliminal.  Fred has been going all arcade with Cruis'n Blast, engages heavy with Magic the Gathering Arena thanks to the Innestrad: Midnight Hunt set, and drags his way to the finish line of Sackboy.  He also contemplates Halloween gaming and how his play habits may be in direct contradiction to his decision making on what to play.

  • We're Falling Apart

    24/09/2021 Duración: 02h04min

This week Fred and Trees acknowledge that injuries can happen and its a time for healing.  Additionally birthdays continue as does renovations.  On the gaming front Trees is continuing to fix cars, has gone solo in Luigi's Mansion 3, and continues to play AC: Valhalla the "wrong way".  Fred dabbles in mods, Magic: The Gathering, goes back to his FMV teenage years with Tender Loving Care, and enjoyed the b-tier title Werewolf the Apocalypse: Earthblood.

  • Adulting is Hard

    10/09/2021 Duración: 02h55min

This week was a bit tough on both the guys and there are stories to tell of the whole ordeal.  It's not all bad though because there were some important gaming anniversaries and Sony did it's pseudo-E3 showcase!  Trees has been busy repairing cards in Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 and completed Minecraft Dungeons with his boy.  Fred got in some Vita time and is nearing the end of Psychonauts 2.  He also got a chance to try out Aliens Fireteam Elite and continues to enjoy Demons Souls on PS5.

  • SUP

    03/09/2021 Duración: 02h16min

This week it's birthday's for Trees and dog bars for Fred.  Much on the gaming front as well, starting with Maneater, which Trees is still working through with his son and Fred has completed 100 percent.  Additionally Trees was getting very Playstation Home-like with Riders Republic (the beta) and...Car Mechanic Simulator 2021!  Fred waved goodbye to 12 Minutes and Doom II while continuing through Psychonauts 2 and having some GameStop shenanigans.  His highlight this week, however, is that he's really enjoying the life (and death) of Demon's Souls.

  • Spring 2022?

    27/08/2021 Duración: 02h24min

This week Trees makes the most of the weekend while Fred...doesn't.  After a brief discussion on Gamescom announcements things quickly move to the games they've played.  Trees has his staples: Car Mechanic Simulator, Maneater, and AC Valhalla.  He also got to experience the 4K upres version of Crimson Skies, gave an indie title Islanders shot, and wrapped up with Slime Rancher (Plortable Edition).  Fred tries to figure out why he struggles with the PS2 era in particular after reflecting on his recent MGS2 playthrough.  Then it's all new stuff with 12 Minutes, Psychonauts 2, and Demons Souls (PS5).

  • Boat Stuff

    13/08/2021 Duración: 02h26min

This week Fred returns from vacation to talk about the wonders of the Ozarks while Trees is living up kids parties and beach life.  On the video game front Trees has been enjoying a new game called Car Mechanic Simulator, enjoying the levels of Maneater, and trying out the new Picross: Sega Edition.  He also started Assassin's Creed Valhalla.  Fred tried to like Ivy the Kiwi? and ended up in a deep hole (temporarily) with match 3 games.  Finally in honor of the 20th anniversary, he's giving a second go to Metal Gear Solid 2 HD (this time on PS3).

  • Nothing Happening

    06/08/2021 Duración: 02h25min

This week was relatively uneventful for our hosts, but that doesn't stop the discussion.  From the demonic nature of the loon to bandoleers of beer, life finds a way.  On the gaming front Trees has upgraded his DLC in Car Mechanic Simlator, explored Billions Road further, and continues to grind Minecraft Dungeons with his son.  This transitions to a dual discussion on Maneater, which Fred has also started this week.  Fred also wraps up Cold War, enjoys some retro on the MiSTer, and has a serious fit over the Panzer Dragoon franchise, particularly Orta.  It all wraps with some quick words on Sackboy's Big Adventure and the addicting but also slow moving nature of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

  • Beach Shark

    30/07/2021 Duración: 02h42min

This week Fred goes first and manages to avoid drama in public rather than cause it while Trees is rocking back-to-back birthday parties.  The two also give much love to the upcoming Picross S Sega release before delving into games.  Fred finished Miles Morales, started Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, and played plenty of coop with his daughter in It Takes Two.  He also speaks of the ups and downs of playing Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.  Trees has been repairing actual Gameboys, but also virtual cars in Car Mechanic Simulator.  He also received his copy of Billions Road and got started in his empire building while also playing Minecraft Dungeons and some random shark game with his boy.

  • Jox Rox

    16/07/2021 Duración: 02h54min

This week Trees discusses the wrap up of vacation while Fred works through a very difficult series of events and listener mail sparks even deeper discussion.  On the gaming front, Trees has been rocking through Yakuza: Like a Dragon while also dabbling in Star Wars Squadrons and returning to Titanfall 2.  Fred has watched a bunch of media including Black Widow, The Forever Purge, Inside, and Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (all spoiler free discussions).  Fred's games include Rayman Redemption and Biomutant as well as finishing Psychonauts and Far Cry Primal.

  • Within 30 Seconds

    09/07/2021 Duración: 02h57min

This week Trees is having a blast on vacation while Fred enjoys a relaxed 4th of July weekend.  Listener mail leads the discussion to the PS1 days before moving onto games.  Trees has been playing more Car Mechanic Simulator and Mario Golf: Super Rush, plus early exploration into Lego Builder's Journey.  Fred played through Doom (1993), a good chunk of Far Cry Primal, and dipped his toe into the run-based PS5 exclusive Returnal.

  • Sega Wall Art

    02/07/2021 Duración: 03h02min

This week starts off with a very Sega discussion about the classic Genesis (or Mega Drive) days.  We also hear about block parties and the joy of Best Buy employees before jumping into games.  Trees traded in his XB1, took the plunge into the so-so Mario Golf and continues to dominate in Car Mechanic Simulator to the point that he's almost out of things to do.  The highlight this week for him was still Yakuza: Like a Dragon where the story is enticing but it's main protagonist Ichiban that may be Trees' favorite gaming character of all time.  Fred wrapped Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, had a horrid time with Sea of Thieves, continues to enjoy Far Cry: Primal, and delved into getting gaming deals via Gamefly.  He's also going a bit retro with the newest re-release of Doom on Xbox and replaying Psychonauts.

  • Cold Series X

    25/06/2021 Duración: 02h32min

This week there's little time for personal life, so even these two dads give little attention to Father's Day like the rest of the world.  Trees finally has his new 4K TV set up and got to dazzle at his first Series X games, but he had to return quickly to his day job of full time mechanic in Car Mechanic Simulator on PS4.  Fred dove into Dark Alliance thanks to a day one release on Game Pass and his impressions on both console and PC were disappointing.  Despite this, he's having nothing but a blast with both Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Far Cry Primal.
